Happy Halloween

Halloween is always a fun time. It was even funnier when Haley woke up this morning and said “Daddy, It’s Halloween! Can we go trick-or-treating?” Of course, I said, but you’ve got to school first. She is so adorable.

We went over to some friends neighbor to trick-or-treat. Chris and Janet are like a second set of parents for me. Our minister of music’s wife and kids were along for the night as well. Her two kids, Conner and Max, are pure boys. Chris and Janet’s daughter Sara, which is my two daughters friend was dressed as Miley Cyrus and my oldest daughter was Hannah Montana. Conner was the perfect Harry Potter and little Max was a train conductor. Now for my little Haley. Saturday she went to a Halloween party as Mulan from Disney. Cool, huh. Well, when I asked her if she was going as Mulan on Halloween she said, “No, I’m going to wear my red dress”. I said, “Haley, that’s not a costume, it’s just a dress”. She said, “So”!

Needless to say, it wasn’t a battle worth fighting. She wore her red dress, heels, and a tiara. My little princess Haley.

Here are some of the shots I took.

Chris is Sara dad, so it was fitting for him to Billy Ray Cyrus since Sara was Miley Cyrus. Chris is a wig or your real hair??

Happy Monday!

Wow, what a great weekend! The weather was absolutely perfect, Georgia beat Florida, and I had one of the most awesome private sessions.

I’ve been working all day on finalizing albums for Christmas delivery, and producing a super cool album for one of my brides.

Check back later on this evening or in the morning to see some of the images from this weekends private shoot. This shoot will be protected but if you contact me for the password and you’re really nice to me, I might just give you the password. And you know, it wouldn’t hurt to write a nice comment as well.

Here’s a little teaser from the private shoot.

Pretty cool, huh?

As cool as that would have been, it’s not. I found this website that takes your photos and generates these types of images. Check it out by clicking here.

I’ve been so busy working on album pre-designs, holiday cards, and some business projects in general. I have a super cool session coming up this weekend. It should be a really fun session. I can’t talk too much about it and may not be able to post any images, but I will keep everyone updated about it.

I will be finishing off a few albums designs today and working on several print orders.

NOTE TO THE BRIDES: My 2008 schedule is already filling up and will more than likely sell out by the end of the year. So hurry and contact me to reserve your wedding date. Also, the wedding prices will be increasing after the new year.

Everyone have a great day and God Bless!

The Thompson’s

Recently, I got to photograph the Thompson family. They are expecting another little girl in December. Avery is just the sweetest little girl. Here’s a few from the day.

Debbie looks so natural to me. She doesn’t even look like she’s expecting.

Trash the Dress – Catherine

Well, here’s my first trash the dress. Last Sunday, I made the trip back down to Catherine and Lee’s River House on the Savannah River to shoot her trash the dress. It was such a great day. Clear skies, low humidity, and about 85 degrees. The water was a little chilly, but that was no problem.

I just loved Catherine very simple dress. So simple, so elegant. It truly reflected her style and personality. During this session, I really tried hard to capture her personality with trash the dress.

Click here to see some of Lee and Catherine’s wedding.

Below are some of me favs. I should have a few more images to come a little later.

The Guilfoyle Family

Recently, I had the chance to photograph the Guilfoyle family, Mark, Heather, and the sweet little Caitlyn. We all met a Diamond Lakes and shot some wonderful photos. I got to know Mark and Heather through Mark sister, Valerie, who’s wedding I’ll be shooting later this year in December. Here’s are just a few a my favorites from the day.

I think this one of so cute. Mark is a big fishing person. I have one of the these that was shot back in 1983 of me and my granddaddy at sunset near the Lock and Dam. It brought back so many memories for me.
