Rock Band Follow-Up

Tonight was AWESOME!!

Six of us got tonight to play rock band. I had played by myself yesterday and this morning and it was totally fun that way. I didn’t expect how fun it would be playing together. We hooked the Playstation up to the projector and routed the sound to the amplified sound system.

I started out with Quickplay, which basically you pick any song and rock. We hooked up the drums, microphone, and both guitars. After a little quickplay we started the band world tour. Using the microphone was funny. You have to hit the vocal notes in the song. Hearing everyone sing was interesting. All the kids played in the gym so we took turns watching them and making sure they were OK.

Rock Band is 100% addicting. Once you successfully complete a song it gives you the next one. Being that it’s addicting, you just have to play the next one. We all took turns playing each instrument. The one thing I like about this game is that each instrument you play, you can select your skill level. One person might be awesome on the guitar and select medium or hard skill level, but another person might not be as good on the vocals or drums and can select easy or medium.

This is the best group video game I ever seen. If you have a Playstation 2 or 3, or an Xbox 360, go get the Rock Band Bundle from Amazon.com. You and friends will have the best time. I’ve added the links to the Amazon store to the games.
