Tomorrow, Kyle and I will be traveling to Atlanta for David Jay’s Free to Succeed Tour. We were originally supposed to attend the Tour in Charleston, SC but due to lower than expected registration the Charleston, SC stop was cancelled and moved to the Charlotte, NC stop.
I’ve been looking forward to this tour since DJ originally announced it earlier this year. Ever since I’ve entered the world of wedding photography, I’ve looked to DJ as sort of a silent mentor. Through his business acumen, inspiring images, and passion to help fellow photographers learn more, he’s truly set me on the right path. Many times at weddings and in general conversation I get asked about my competition and how fierce it is and so many times people are shocked when I explain how it’s not about competition and how I try to share and help others. In my industry, it’s all about networking. The way we figure is that the more we share with each other the better we all become thus enabling us to serve and deliver world class service to our clients.
