Last week was Spring Break for the girls and on Friday I took them to Atlanta and on Saturday visited The World of Coke. We stayed at the Ritz Carlton in Buckhead and had a great time relaxing and swimming in their nice indoor pool. Around 11am we headed down to The World of Coke. I really enjoyed my visit there. They had a short documentary film which some of you may remember. It was a Super Bowl commercial, I think but they created some additional animation and kind of went a little further in explanation. Here’s the commercial.
I had a 4D film about What makes a Coke, a Coke? A mammoth amount of memorabilia, pop art, and the friendly Coke polar bear for photos. My favorite part was sampling all of the different flavors of soft drinks produced from around the world. Some good, some not so good. Have some of photos from that day.
Here’s Haley watching some cartoons at the Ritz Carlton before we left.
The sweet glass waterwall in the atrium depicting Coke’s worldwide reach.
One of the many rooms with memorabilia. They was a holding room before the first film.
Did you know the fact below in the photo?
Freaky!! They were from the commercial.
??
One of my favorites. Some of the torches of the past Olympics Games.
And the best part – everyone gets an 8oz bottle of Coca-Cola Classic to take home.
I thought I’d throw this one in from Sunday afternoon. Lauren loves her dog.
