The Disney Cruise Adventures

Last weekend we went on a nice little Disney Cruise and it was nothing short a great.  I’ve been a past cruise ships other than Disney but the boat looked brand new.  It was ten years old but looked only a week old. Amazing.  We had amazing food, entertainment and service.  Disney really outdoes the service here.  I mean our servers would cut up the girls meat for them every night.  How cool is that?  I took so many photos but here’s just a few of my favorites.

Lauren at the terminal waiting to board.

The Mickey Pool where Lauren and Haley spent a lot of time.

At the Castaway Deck Party. Fun!

Disney’s signature brand. Clean and classic.

Dinner at Triton’s the first evening. Good steak and creme brulee.
dcl06

Perfect weather. It’s a current wallpaper of the iMac.

I swear Nassau gets dirtier and dirtier every time I visit.
dcl08

The condiments at the Atlantis Resort were so organized. Unbelievable.

Dinner at Animators Palete the second night.  The dining room begins all black and white and slowly materializes into color throughout the meal.  Pretty cool!

Lauren and Haley were always amazed by the magic tricks at dinner.

Our server, Josipa, was fantastic.

One of the favorites.  The lighthouse in the Nassau.

Most of the time the shows on cruise ships aren’t too good.  Not Disney.  The shows were great.  Toy Story was done well.

And only Disney can shoot fireworks off at the sea. Another reason Disney is the best.
dcl18

The actual Black Pearl ship from the Pirates of the Caribbean movie.  And perfect weather again.

The Disney Wonder docked in Castaway Cay.

Wedding: Kim & Adam

Saturday, Kim and Adam had got married at the Living History Park in North Augusta, SC.  This place was an absolute gem.  A small park set down in a valley amongst towering pines and weeping willow trees.  A creek runs through the park as well making it the perfect setting for a wedding.  And how the wedding came to be at the Living History Park is a story in itself, but I’m so glad we had it there.

Below are some of my favorites, but to see the slideshow with more images from the wedding, CLICK HERE
