Charlene & Dixon – North Augusta Engagement Photography

This past weekend I believe was the best autumn weekend I’ve seen in a while.  Saturday morning I met Charlene and Dixon in North Augusta, South Carolina at the Greenway for their engagement session.  The weather was perfect and we all had a great time walking around.

If you’d like to be notified when the rest of the photos are available to view, click here and send us your email address.  Believe me, when you do, Charlene and Dixon will be glad you did.

Below are several of my favorites from that morning.

I love the fall colors in this image.

Charlene has such an infectious smile.

Columbia Engagement Photographer – Amanda & Ryan

OK, so I admit that this particular engagement session is a special one to me.  Amanda and Ryan are set to get married on February 27 next year. The reason for it being so special is because Amanda is my little sister. Her and Ryan have been dating for nearly 10 years and on February 27, 2010 they will have been together for 10 years.

Thursday started as an absolutely dreary day.  Raining a little with the remnants of Hurricane Ida here and there.  We were all a little skeptical when went downtown, but as soon as we started shooting, the clouds parted and the sun came out and turned a once dreary day into a beautiful afternoon.

40 Years of Sesame Street

On Tuesday, November 10, 2009, Jim Henson’s Sesame Street celebrated 40 years.  Most of us grew up on this beloved show.  I remember watching it everyday either before or after school.  Over the years Sesame Street has been welcomed into our homes and taught both us and our kids simple things such as counting, numbers, letters and good ole everyday morals like love, sharing and caring.

Leading up to the 40th anniversary, Google held a tribute, as they do most of the time, by putting a different Sesame Street inspired Google logo on the Google homepage.  Check those out below.

I hope Sesame Street continues to run on air and teach countless scores of people about life.

Enjoy!!

**UPDATE**  Here’s a few other Sesame Street Google Logos that were featured in other countries.

Sacred Heart Fall Wedding | Augusta Wedding Photographer

Saturday, November 7, 2009 at the Sacred Heart Cultural Center in Downtown Augusta, Georgia, Laura and Luke tied the knot.  I really have to say that loved their fall wedding.  Everything was decorated in fall colors and decor.  The weather was beautiful and just the right temperature.  This couple was so laid back and easy going.  The reception was filled with many friends and family having an absolute blast.

Enjoy the slideshow below as well as some of my favorite images from their day.

Lexington Corn Maze

A few weeks ago Lauren, Haley and I along along with my Mom, sister and grandmother went to the Clinton Sease Farm and Corn Maze in Lexington, South Carolina.  If you’ve never been one of these corn mazes, you’re in for a treat.  You’d think, “How hard can one of these mazes be?”  Well, I thought that and let me tell you, it’s tough.  This farm’s main corn maze was comprised of over 8 acres of land and that over 3.5 miles of maze.

After an hour of wandering around in this maze, I finally got smart and pulled out my iPhone and cheated.  Oh well.  It was getting dark and the kids wanted to play in some of the other mazes.

I shot a few photos that afternoon of the kids. Enjoy!

Here’s Haley on the sandpile with the tire maze in the background.

Geez, Lauren is getting big. She’ll be 11 next year in March.

We also had a gorgeous sunset that day.
