Clarks Hill Engagement – Ashley & Jake

Last week, I shot Ashley and Jake’s engagement session at Clarks Hill Lake.  We had planned to shoot on Ashley’s family’s land in Lincolnton, GA.  Apparently, some storms had come through the area recently and blow several trees down over the road leading to the farm.  So we shot a few their and decided, since a storm was on the way, to drive to several different spots around the lake and shot.

Everything worked out great and were able a capture some awesome shots during their engagement session.  Check out some of the shots below and be able to use the new voting system to vote for your favorite.

Rachael & Nate – Augusta Engagement Session

Last week, I had an engagement session with Rachael and Nate at the Savannah Rapids Pavilion.  Rachael actually grew up in Augusta, but now lives in Athens, GA while attending the University of Georgia.  Both her and Nate had come down for the day just for their engagement session.  The light of nearly perfect for the entire session.

I can’t wait for their wedding coming up in October later this year. Oh how I love those fall weddings.

Here’s just a few of the photos from the session, but if you’d like to be notified when the rest of the photos are released into their gallery, please CLICK HERE and send it your information.  Once their released, you’ll get an email detailing how to access the photos.

Rainy Engagement Session – Caroline & Jason

Oh Mother Nature, how you toy with us.  Last week, I had an engagement session scheduled for a late afternoon.  The weather seemed beautiful all day, until I had to leave for my engagement session.  Needless to say, the skies opened up and delivered a constant stream of H2O.  Caroline and Jason had scheduled our engagement session to be here a farm just outside of Waynesboro, GA.  The property was massive, with a huge main house, separate cookhouse, lake, shooting range and probably many more things I didn’t see.

Despite the weather, we managed to stay dry and find places with beautiful light around the property.  I can’t imagine what we could have done if it hadn’t rained.

Below are several of the images from that day.  If you’d like to be notified by email when the rest of the images are released online, please click here and send in your information.

ENJOY!!

Engagement – Crystal + Lee – Lawrence Kent Photography

I met Crystal and Lee at one of the bridal shows early this year. I had seen so many people that day that I really couldn’t put a face to the name.

I met them downtown in Augusta for their engagement session and instantly knew that we’d have a great time. We all had great time shooting that day. They wedding isn’t until May of 2011, but why go ahead and get started.

Enjoy some of the images from their engagement session below. If you’d like to be notified when the rest of the engagement session is available, please click here and register your name and email address. Well send you an email once the images are released.

Rainy Engagement Session – Part 1

Saturday started as a overcast cloudy sky.  The forecast was for rain starting at 1pm at 100% chance, so I knew it was eventually going to pour.  I had scheduled an engagement session with Amanda and Steve and because they are both stationed and Tennessee and North Carolina, the session that to be Saturday.  The rain wasn’t bad all it until the end of the session when my lens cloth became too saturated to dry the lens giving everything a soft focus (which was pretty cool).

Both Steve and Amanda are part of our military.  They are getting married in March this year and then shortly afterward one or both will be deployed overseas.

This is part 1 of 2 posts I’ll be doing from the session.  This is their casual everyday styled session.  The second post is inspired by their military background with a vintage World War II feel to it.

Here’s part 1. ENJOY!!

Check it the rain drops!
