First Baptist Church Wedding: Marsha & Michael – Part I
After a long engagement the day had finally arrived. Marsha and Michael’s wedding took place at First Baptist Church of Augusta, and can I say the day was nothing less than perfection. The church is absolutely gorgeous. From the ceremony to the reception all the details were mapped out and put together to create this exquisite day and make a spectacular wedding for such a great couple.
The weather was absolutely perfect for this time of year. From the start of the day with mild but pleasant temperatures to the moon in the sky at dusk. I can say that the weather could not have been any better for a wedding.
The Wedding party was such a great group to work with. It was such a pleasure working with you all. It was such a pleasure to be invited on your special day to help capture all the special moments that will be cherished for a lifetime. Thank you for sharing your day with me. You are such a wonderful couple and I wish you the best of luck for the future.
Below are several of my favorites from the day. Stay tuned for Part II of the wedding day. If you missed Marsha’s bridal session, click here to see those.
Hammond’s Ferry Engagement – LaQueta & Fitzgerald

What a perfect day to have LaQueta and Fitzgerald’s Engagement pictures. The weather was absolutely exquisite and the location was nothing less than perfect.
We spent the session walking around Hammond’s Ferry in North Augusta enjoying all the different scenery that it had to offer, and might I add that Fitzgerald did a terrific job “working” the camera. I can tell that this is going to be a memorable wedding. With the wedding date set for January 15th at Savannah Rapids Pavilion the day is steadily approaching and I am sure that this one will be the highlight of the New Year.
Here are a few of my favorites.
Happy New Year Everyone!

Augusta Country Club Wedding – Lindsey & Russ – Part 2
Welcome to Part Two of Lindsey and Russ’ spectacular wedding. After the wedding all the guests headed over to the reception held at the wonderful Augusta Country Club, and can I say that the venue was decorated nothing less than amazing. Lindsey’s creativity shown so bright and every detail was done to perfection. Lindsey did a marvelous job with everything, and to me one of the most memorable events of the evening was the Father-Daughter dance where Lindsey and her Father danced to a customized version of the Waltz. The Father of the Bride did such a wonderful job for the wedding. You can tell that Lindsey is the apple of his eye. What a beautiful evening!!
Augusta Country Club Wedding: Lindsey & Russ – Part 1
Lindsey and Russ’ wedding was my last for 2011 and was nothing less than spectacular. Lindsey had everything planned out beautifully from the exquisite food to the gorgeous venue. Most of the day was spent at the Augusta Country Club where the bride got ready for the big day and was also the site of the reception.
The day was off to a great start while Lindsey got ready for the wedding with her bridesmaids and prepared for the first look between her and Russ. The moment between the bride and groom was nothing less than breathtaking. There were so many heartfelt emotions shared between Lindsey and Russ that I could tell they have something truly special to last for a lifetime. I wish you both the best of luck.
The wedding party was a fantastic group to work with! Everyone was so happy for the bride and groom that it really showed how much these two are loved by friends and family. Thank you for being a great group to work with.
I would also like to thank the August Country Club for once again being one of the top places I know to hold a wedding reception. You always have world class service.
I would also like to thank Mr. and Mrs. Norton for being such gracious hosts. Everything was so beautiful and wonderfully planned. You have a great daughter and new son-in-law. Congratulations!
And last by not least, thank you Lindsey and Russ. Thank you allowing me to be a part of your special day. You both did such a fantastic job. I know how hard you worked to make this day turn out as beautiful and memorable as it did. Everything was perfect! I hope you both are having a wonderful time in Jamaica and enjoying the warm weather. Many thanks to you both.
Here is a few of my favorite pictures from the wedding. And Lindsey, I loved the purple shoes.
And her dress just screamed out Lindsey’s name.
From their First Look. Good times!!
Gorgeous light.
