Then the Revell did something I’ve never seen at a reception.  They brought tons of different types of hats.  INSTANT HIT!!  Everyone loved it (as you can see)!

Leesville, South Carolina Wedding – Whitney & Rob

Whitney and Rob were married in Leesville, South Carolina.  Whitney is an absolute stickler for details.  She left no detail unattended.  Everything for their wedding was perfect.  Below are several images from their wedding day.

Payne Corley House Wedding – Katie & Steven

Katie and Steven’s wedding at Payne Corley House in Duluth, Georgia was nothing short of awesome.  I’d never shot or seen the Payne Corley House, but seeing a few photos of the web I knew it would be great.

I went to high school with Steven (and the rest of the Gurley’s) and also played basketball with him and his twin brother, Scott.  I had a great time seeing everyone at wedding.  Our basketball coach, Coach Gritton, married Katie and Steven that day.  It was great to see him as well, as he certainly had a strong impact on me during the high school years and taught me and I’m sure everyone else many things.

To Katie and Steven – thank you for allowing to me to be a part of your wedding and trusting in me to capture your day as it happen.  I know both of you are completely happy now that your married and I could not be happy for you.

Below are several of my favorites from Katie and Steven wedding.  If you like to be notified when the rest of the images are released into their gallery, please click here and leave your information.  You have the engagement session or bridal session photos as well.  Just click the preceding links.

Steven is a pilot of American Airlines, so the groom’s cake was very fitting.

Caroline & Jason’s Waynesboro Georgia Wedding

Caroline and Jason’s wedding was somewhat very familiar to me. The wedding ceremony was held at her parents beautiful house in Waynesboro, GA and the wedding reception was held in an open field under a massive white tent. Both locations were decorated and setup oh so nicely.

The reason for it being so familiar to me is because about three years ago I photographed, Caroline’s sister, Catherine’s wedding. Both were at their parents house, but not in the same location. Both receptions were setup in or near an open field but not anywhere near the same place. Caroline’s was at Jason’s parents farm and Catherine’s was at her parents river house.

Everything was perfect for the wedding. Slightly overcast (no ugly shadows on the face), a cool breeze, awesome light and great people to photograph. The reception was setup with all sorts of decorations which you’ll see below. Caroline, Jason and both their parents really put a lot of time, effort and thought into the reception. It was one of the best receptions I’ve attended.

To Caroline and Jason – thank you being such a great couple to work with. I truly see the love you have for each other. Your wedding and reception was nothing short of spectacular.

The groom’s cake was done by Sarah-Ann of Baking by Sarah Ann.  Not only was the cake so unique and detailed, but it was so yummy.  Her cakes are always the best.

Spring Augusta Wedding: Caroline & Noah

Wow, I can’t believe I’ve had to wait this long to post some images from this wedding.  It was beautiful.  We’ve gotten everything moved from Augusta, Georgia to Lexington, SC.  The essentials are setup, the utilities are on, DirecTV totally rocks and the kids are headed back to school tomorrow.  I’ll some photos of the house later this week to post.

Caroline and Noah’s wedding several weeks ago in March was perfect.  Perfect weather which made all of the dogwoods bloom and create such a lovely setting for their wedding at the First Presbyterian Church in downtown Augusta, Georgia.

Here a few of my favorites I picked during the initial viewing.

Early Spring Wedding – Amanda and Steve – Part 1

I was so proud to shoot this weekend for Amanda and Steve.  Not because they were both just awesome clients and genuinely in love but because both serve in our Armed Forces.  Amanda serves our country based out of Tennessee and Steve serves in North Carolina and when they return from their honeymoon (in Spain – no fair!!) they will return to their separate bases.  In May (which is just a short time away) Amanda is getting deployed to Afghanistan.  They are trying to work it to where Steve will also get deployed close to where Amanda will be, but nothing has come up yet.

Their wedding was absolutely beautiful.  Very small and intimate with close family and friends.  The entire day was very laid and flowed smoothly.  The weather totally cooperated for us.  Mild temperatures in the high 60′s and very little breeze.

To Amanda and Steve – thank you so for letting me share in your day and help make the memories to share with you and everyone.

Also, be sure to sign up to be notified of when the remaining images are posted online.  Click here to SIGN UP!! Below are several images from their wedding day.  I had so many excellent I wanted to share, so the images will be broken up into two different parts.  Here’s Part 1!
