Drew

Last Thursday, before I left for my trip to New York (more to come on that), I got to photograph Drew. Drew is the nephew to my best friends, Michael and Christen. Christen’s parents and sister, Beth came down from Kentucky for Easter. Drew was born much earlier than anticipated and couldn’t go out to get his pictures done so I happily agreed to come over and take a few. I also needed to meet Christen’s sister Beth because this summer we’ll be roommates on a cruise we’re taking. I can’t wait until the cruise in July.

Drew was such a good baby.

Max (Portraits)

On Saturday, I met two of my best friends, Michael and Christen, at the Augusta Museum of History to take a picture of their youngest son, Max. He isn’t quite two yet, but Christen wanted a picture of him in this certain sailor outfit. It turns out that the sailor suit Max wore was the same exact suit his Daddy wore when he was two. I used the museum because it was rather cold for the sailor suit and the museum had I nice big window for great light.

Here’s one of Max.

And Michael is going to kill for posting this one, but doesn’t Max look just like his Dad.

We’ll be taking some more of Max for his 2nd Birthday in March or April.

Addison Layne

On Wednesday, December 5, 2007, at 7:44 in the morning, Addison Layne was born. Weighing 7 lbs. and 9 oz. and measuring 19.5 inches long. I shot Debbie’s maternity session in October and on Thursday I shot a few of Addison at the hospital. She’s so tiny. I can’t believe that she’s bigger than my two girls at birth. How time fly’s.

Here’s a few from the day.

She was sleeping so happily.

Debbie looks so natural to me. She doesn’t even look like she’s expecting.

The Guilfoyle Family

Recently, I had the chance to photograph the Guilfoyle family, Mark, Heather, and the sweet little Caitlyn. We all met a Diamond Lakes and shot some wonderful photos. I got to know Mark and Heather through Mark sister, Valerie, who’s wedding I’ll be shooting later this year in December. Here’s are just a few a my favorites from the day.

I think this one of so cute. Mark is a big fishing person. I have one of the these that was shot back in 1983 of me and my granddaddy at sunset near the Lock and Dam. It brought back so many memories for me.
