While in Charleston for a bridal session, Amy contacted about having a short save the date session with her and Adam, who recently proposed. We were already planning to visit Magnolia Plantation and decided to meet them there and shoot a few photos. Both Amy and Adam are huge dog lovers and bought along both Ruby and Margo. Gorgeous weather, a fantastic location, and wonderful clients. Those are a few of the things that make up a beautiful wedding. Leigh and Paul’s wedding at historical St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in downtown Augusta, Georgia was just that. Under warm, blue skies, surrounded by many loving friends and family, they promised to remain true to each other no matter life throws their way.

I feel so fortunate to have been able to shoot Leigh and Paul’s wedding. Both of their friends and family are marvelous to work with. I had previously meet them when I shot Hope and Mikey’s (Paul’s brother) wedding in 2011. To Leigh and Paul, I hope you are taking time to enjoy your honeymoon and getting used to your new titles as husband and wife. Thank you for allowing us to capture your marriage. What a wonderful wedding this past Saturday. It’s hard to ask for a better couple to work with. Marcie and Andrew’s wedding at T&S Farms in Batesburg, South Carolina was marvelous and the day couldn’t have been more perfect.

I loved the country, farm chic theme of everything. Marcie and Andrew did a fantastic job with everything. Here’s several of my favorites and stay tuned for Part Two coming soon.

For some reason, I am really digging this style of wedding dresses lately. Simple and elegant.

And Marcie’s pink Toms are fast becoming very popular for brides.

These guys are so cute and the ‘Here Comes The Bride’ banner was such a great addition to the ceremony.Marcie was simply a gorgeous bride.

Batesburg, South Carolina Engagement Session: Kayla & Nicholas

How many times can a photographer say they have been chased by a bull while shooting an engagement session? I can say it once now. Sunday, I met Kayla and Nick at their families farm in Batesburg, South Carolina. I have always loved shooting at locations like this. We shot the session early and couldn’t have asked for better weather and conditions. Kayla and Nick did a fabulous job during the session.

I can’t wait for their wedding later this year in June. Below are several of my favorite picks from the session. I just love these photos. You guys were absolute perfection.

State House & The Vista Engagement Session: Mindy & Andrew

I can always tell that springtime is well on it’s way not only by the rising temperatures and budding flowers and trees, but the slew of the engagements, bridals and weddings on the way. This spring is no different. This past Saturday was Mindy and Andrew’s engagement session. The weather was absolutely perfect. We started at the South Carolina State House and then moved on to several different locations in The Vista. Mindy and Andrew both did a fantastic job.

I cannot wait till their wedding this May at the Westin Resort on Hilton Head Island. Until then enjoy several of my favorites from their session.

Clemson Engagement Session: Kristin & David

I spent last Saturday with David and Kristin at Clemson University in Upstate South Carolina. What a beautiful campus!! Clemson is where both attended and met each other. We started at Clemson’s stadium, Death Valley and moved on from there around campus.

Kristin and David’s wedding is next August in Augusta, Georgia and should be a spectacular event. Enjoy several of their engagement photos!!

Amelia Island Beach Wedding: Kari & Andrew

Last Saturday’s wedding on Amelia Island was fantastic. Kari and Andrew married at the Old First Baptist Church in historic downtown Amelia Island. I’ve been friends of Kari’s family for years now and could not ask for a better family to work with. The day was simply perfect. After the ceremony, the wedding party all headed down to the beach on Amelia Island. The sunset was perfect for Andrew and Kari’s bride and groom photos. I think everything turned out to be gorgeous. Afterwards everyone headed over to Walker’s Landing at Amelia Island Plantation for the reception.

Kari and Andrew you have been such wonderful and gracious clients and friends to work with. Your wedding was absolutely splendid. We couldn’t have asked for a better day. All the best to both of you in the future. Enjoy your honeymoon in the Caribbean. Thank you!!
